The Mini Horse Outreach team visited the South Carolina Recovery Fund (SCORF) Board at the South Carolina State House grounds. The event took a lot of coordination from Protective Services to secure parking on grounds and security throughout the visit.
Muffin was a rock star navigating security, elevator ride, and the ins and outs of the Edgar A. Brown Building. SCORF board members were excited to meet Muffin and hear a brief presentation on Hoof Beat Ranch’s equine programs. Equine assisted interventions with Muffin and her horse friend’s are making a profound impact on reducing the impact of the opioid crisis in Lexington County and surrounding Midlands community.
