Hoof Beat Ranch
Hoof Beat Ranch is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to the horse and human partnership. Our equine programs are 100% funded by grants and donations. Hoof Beat Ranch steps in to fill the gap in funding and program needs in partnership with Cayce Fire Department.
We have three Bureau of Land Management (BLM) previously wild mustangs and one burro that have been gentled. Wild horses (and burros) are attuned to their environment for their survival and make great partners in a therapeutic setting with their instant non-judgmental feedback.
Mila the mini pony came from a neglect situation. She was feral (unhandled), severely underweight, overgrown hooves, and mistrusted in people since they had previously failed her.
Our mustangs, burro, and mini pony each had to learn how to live a new domestic life and trust people. Their stories of overcoming adversity help inspire others to do so.
Muffin the American Mini Horse came from a good home but never had a job other than eating grass and being cute before her therapy horse training. Now Muffin and Mila the Therapy Horses travel all around the community with the Mini Horse Outreach Team.

Our Horses and Burro Have Overcome Their Own Adversity and Inspire Others to Do the Same.
