May 28th at Lexington First Baptist the Muffin and Friend’s Coloring Book Launch made history! This was the first ever fundraising event for the equine programs and release of the original hand drawn coloring book!
We had an amazing turnout from the community and support for the coloring book! The buy one, get one fundraiser allows you to get a coloring book and for our Mini Horse Outreach team to give one away with Muffin and Mila the Therapy Horses.
We also had Muffin and Mila the Therapy horses there for a meet and great!
Our first audience to receive the coloring books a few weeks ago was SCDC Broad River CI. The team went into the mental health unit and presented the justice involved with the coloring books, coping skill, mindfulness, breathing techniques, and meet and greet with the mini horses.
We also were able to show the Muffin mini documentary at the event! Stay tuned for the Youtube Premire. Details to come.
We were able to raise a total that day of $2,135.62 with donations still trickling in from those who missed the event. We are so thankful for the communities support!

What is the Muffin and Friend’s Coloring book? It is a hand drawn coloring book illustrated by local artist Kat Wilson of the horses of Hoof Beat Ranch. Each page has simple messaging on mindfulness, regulation, and encouragement on the hard days.
