The Therapeutic Equine Activities (TEA) is moving to a new location in Pelion, SC. Hoof Beat Ranch has partnered with a private community partner to host the TEA program and house the horses and donkey.
This new location will allow for expansion of the TEA program by offering sessions multiple days a week instead of one morning a week at previous locations.
History of TEA
Spring 2025 the TEA program was piloted at The Courage Center (a recovery organization) at the Lexington location for their participants. A research study was conducted on the impact of the Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) intervention. A graduation was held for the participants that finished the program at the end of the semester.
Fall 2025-Spring 2026 the TEA program moved into the City of Cayce at the Historic Speedway. TEA program serviced individuals in recovery, first responders, front line workers and those wanting to improve mental wellness. We are so thankful for the Speedway’s partnership.
Launch back in June!
The TEA program will be back in June. This time will allow the horses and staff adjust to the new location. Please contact us to book a session.
