A little rain didn’t keep us from coming!
This is the 3rd year Mini Horse Outreach team participated in the Hot Flash 5k by the Women’s Club of Cayce. Despite the rain it was a cool morning and the forest at the Timberman Trail was beautiful to transverse during the race.
We were able to do a brief meet and greet with Muffin and Mila (Me-la) the therapy horses before and after the race.
This was the first event we have done with it raining the entire time with the Muffin and Mila and they did quite well and didn’t seem to mind the rain. When not working Muffin and Mila the therapy horses live outside so it probably wasn’t as big of deal for them as it was for the rest of the humans involved.
